A/Prof Williams is a podiatrist and researcher. She has worked in multidisciplinary teams focusing on assessment of paediatric orthopaedic conditions and gait problems in children at Monash Health and Peninsula Health.

She is an Associate Professor in the School of Primary and Allied Health Care at Monash University, Senior Researcher at Peninsula Health and maintains a small clinical load in private practice.

Cylie has over 100 peer reivewer publications, many on paediatric gait and foot conditions. She has obtained NHMRC and MRFF competative funding. She holds adjunct research positions at University of South Australia, and Staffordshire University, UK.
