Dr Whittaker is a Lecturer and early career researcher at La Trobe University. Dr Whittaker’s research focusses on musculoskeletal conditions of the foot, particularly the diagnosis and management of heel pain from both mechanical and inflammatory causes. His PhD evaluated the effectiveness of foot orthoses versus corticosteroid injection for plantar heel pain.
